In 1962 he began studing in Conservatorio Provincial “Gilardo
Gilardi”, La Plata. In 1965 he takes lessons with maestro
Dante Valledor, discípulo from Marcel Moisse's school.
In 1971 he enters the Conservatorio Provincial de La Lucila. During
1978 he makes workshops with Maestro Jean Pierre Rampal.
In 1969 he is part of the Teatro Argentino de La Plata's Orquestra.
In 1970 integrates the Maestro Eduardo Rovira's Quintet.
From 1972 to 1978 he integrated the group “Anacrusa”
making a european tour during 1977. In 1978 he is part of “Memoria
D’as Aguas”. He makes several concerts and a Europe
tour. In 1979 and 1980 he participates in Jazz Festivals and tour
to Escandinavia. From 1981 to 1985 he is part of Piero's group
PREMA. In 1983 and till 1987 he is part with Chango Farias Gómez,
Jacinto Piedra, Peteco Carbajal and Verónica Condomí
the group Músicos Populares Argentinos (MPA). In 1989 he
goes to México, where he lives untill 1992; There, he participates
in the group Sexto Sentido.
Back in Argentina, in 1993, he performs live music for the play
“La oscuridad de la razón”. In 1994 Chango
Farias Gómez calls him again to integrate his group “El
Chango y la Manija”, untill 1998. In 1995 he performs live
music for the play “El Fausto”.
In 1997 he is called by Lito Vitale to integrate the remarcable
trio VITALE-IZARRUALDE-GONZALEZ, with which the made a Spanish
tour in 1997, played in Montreaux Jazz Festival and a Japanese
tour in 1998.
In 1999 he is Music Advisor in the Culture's Undersecretarie of
Buenos Aires Province. During the year 2000 he integrates a duet
with Raúl Carnota and then, ultill 2001 he created the
CIK TRIO (together with Miguel Cantilo and Kubero Díaz).
In summer 2002 he makes a tour to Australia with Lito Vitale,
Luis Salinas and Lucho González.
In March 2002 he creates his own group, trío “MONOTRIBUTO”
with Eduardo Pandolfo on bass and Jerónimo Izarrualde on
drums, performing all over the country.
He has recorded and performed with nacional and internacional
artists such as Paquito de Rivera, Jairo, Amparo Ochoa, Miguel
Abuelo, Sandra Mihanovich, Miguel Cantilo, Maria Creuza, among
others.
