Born september 15th 1959 in Buenos Aires.
He started his aproach to músic at the age of eigth years
old with the guitar en forma autodidacta. In his adolescence he
starts with bass guitar in several underground Jazz-Rock gruops.
In 1978 he meets Dino Saluzzi, who incorporates him to his group
“Vanguardia Latinoamericana”. Sice then, he has been
part of several of Saluzzi's groups.
He played as sideman of Rubén Rada, Emilio Del Guercio,
C.C.Cutaia, etc, he has also been part of proyects as “Los
amigos del Chango” with Chango Farías Gómez,
Lucho González, “Mono” Izarrualde and Jorge
Cumbo among others; Cuchi Leguizamón; Manolo Juárez;
Chany Suárez; “Luis Borda Trío”; “Buenos
Aires Jazz Fusión”; the orchest “Opuestos por
el Vértice”; among others. In 1982 he participates
of “Cuarteto de Dino Saluzzi” with Quique Sinesi (guitar)
and Matías González (bass) and they play in jazz
festivals in Berlín, Zurich, Koln, Hamburgo, Basilea, Leipzig,
etc.
In 1984 With Sinesi and López they create “Alfombra
Mágica” , very prestigious group between Argentinian
musicians, playing in Buenos Aires and the hole country and recording
three albums.
During 1995 and 1996 he integrated a trio with Horacio López
in percusion and Carlos Aguirre in piano, playng Argentinian fusion
music.
In 1998 and 1999 with the group of percusión ciber-etnic
“Terrestres”.
Nowadays and since 2002 with Néstor Gómez (guitar),
Rubén “Mono” Izarrualde (flute)and Horacio
López (percusion) they are “Cuartoelemento”
with who he records during 2003 winning the Carlos Gardel Award

In 2003 trío with maestro and tnago pianist Emilio De La
Peña and Juan Carlos Varela in voice.
In 2004 another trio with Ricardo Nole and Horacio López;
“De Orilla a Orilla”.
As a teacher, he participated in the G.E.O Popular Music School.
He wrote as a columnist in the magazine “El Musiquero”
about his instrument and made several worshops “Talleres”
sponsored by the Argentina Music Union, Ctro. Cultural Rojas,
ProMúsica, “La Sonora” School and 4th Popular
musician's gathering in Rosario.
Since 2004 he uses acoustic basses buily by Maestro Jorge “Negro”
Demonte.
