Izarrualde, Gómez y González made their debut “EN
TRIO” on April 2002 at the Payro theather in
this city.
They performed during that year in many cicles in Buenos Aires
City, La Plata and the rest of the state. In 2003 the group finaly
reach their final shape with the incorporation of Horacio López
and begins recording under the name of “Cuartoelemento”
what later would be their first album, which was edited in 2005,
doing their performance in October of that same year in Presidente
Alvear theather.
With this album they won the 2006 “Carlos Gardel”
award on the category “Tangos nuevas formas”. Douring
2007 they recorded their second album “ALQUIMIA”
performed live in “Ciudad Vieja” – that
assiduously performed over the whole state and once again in Presidente Alvear theather.
In
August 2008 the made a tour to Canada, playing in music festivals
at Vancouver, KAslo and Salt Spring Island. In
October 2009 the made their first Latinamerican Tour, invitred
by the Argentinean's Foreing Office. They play in Panamá
and participate in Guatemala in "Las Fiestas de Octubre".
At the same time, they release their third album, "Camino"
The group
tematic it based upon the spontaneity and improvisation over
a repertory thats goes from owns works of Nestor Gomez y Horacio
Lopez to compositions of Astor Piazzolla, “Cuchi”
Leguizamon, Atahualpa Yupanqui, Fortunato Juárez, Ramón
Navarro, Félix Palorma, Charlie Haden, Bireli Lagrene,
Richard Galliano, Chango Nieto, Joao Bosco, Luis Bonfa, Don
Sebesky, Armando Manzanero, among others , interpretating world’s
music at their way, an argentinian way.
They hace
performed in many festivals,in auditoriums and theaters in Buenos
Aires: Un gallo para Esculapio, SF Espacio Cultural, No Avestruz,
Vaca Profana, Torcuato Tasso, Bar Tuñon, among others.
Thay’ve participated of the Jazz’s Festivals of
Buenos Aires 2004, El Bolsón 2005, the third Meeting
of Popular Musicians of Rosario 2006 and the first National Meeting of Argentinean Music in Santa Fe 2008.. They realized also presentations
in La Plata, Bahía Blanca, Córdoba, Mar del Plata,
Miramar, Necochea, Carlos Casares, Bolívar, Bragado,
Tandil, Alberti, etc.
